Bio

I am a Colorado native and have lived here my whole life. I attended J.K. Mullen High School and then graduated with a degree in English from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I am a Colorado Media School graduate where I  learned the skills to obtain a job in play by play, on-air work, and production for sports radio and television. Colorado Media School has assisted in strengthening my skills with audio editing and mastering, as well as aided in my development of video editing, shot building, and web and image design. These skills have become part of my daily life as I find any reason to work with software such as: Audition and Premiere.

I currently work as a Supervisor at Starbucks and have been with them for the last 7 years. I have been presented with Partner of the Quarter (employee voted by the management and staff as the most valuable for the quarter). Every job I have had has lasted 5 years or more. I work as hard as possible to maintain good relationships and show that I have value in several areas.

I have worked in music semi-professionally for the last 5 years, which has taught me punctuality, audio engineer (both building remotes, and mixing audio) as well as performance and voice control. The skills I’ve learned through touring is how to handle myself in a random situations with calm and relaxed demeanor. You never know what can happen at any moment in this industry.

I have developed a strong work ethic through a long journey to gaining a college degree as well as working consistently since the age of 16. As a musician, I have learned discipline and patience through creating new content and touring the country. Learning that achieving perfection in anything is also something I’ve received from being in music. Strive to be good a many aspects of work, never settle to be great at one thing. Make yourself indispensible. These skills translate into every aspect of life, and allow for growth and change through any phase of life as well.
